Sharing & Reuse Conference 2017 organised under the umbrella of the ISA² Programme by the ISA Unit of Directorate-General for Informatics (DIGIT) of the European Commission on 29 March in Lisbon, will bring together representatives from public administrations: policy and decision makers, legal professionals, IT managers, and procurers. Private sector IT developers providing IT solutions for public administration will also be represented.
BYTE will be hosting our project final conference on Capturing the benefits of big data and addressing legal, ethical and social challenges. The conference will include policy-makers, large industry, academics, civil society organisations, SMEs and legal experts. We are pleased to invite you to the SONNETS Workshop on “Emerging ICTs and Innovation Potential for the Public Sector” where you can become an actor in the transformation of the public sector into a technology and innovation leader.
SONNETS was presented by Nuria Rodríguez, SONNETS project coordinator, during the conference "Oportunidades de financiación Europea para fomentar la innovación en AAPP" organized by Atos Spain in the National Institute of Public Administration (“Instituto Nacional de Administración Pública - INAP”).
Contribute to the eGovernment Action Plan 2016 – 2020: this online platform has been set up to gather ideas for new actions and provides a space for all to collaborate and discuss how to improve eGovernment services in the EU.
The Workshop will present the new eGovernment Action Plan 2016-2020, which aims to accelerate the digital transformation of government in the EU.
The 20 pre-defined actions already in the action plan are addressing the modernisation of public administrations using ICT, the mobility of citizens and businesses in the EU and facilitating the digital interaction with administrations for high-quality public services. In addition, further actions may by proposed during the lifetime of the action plan, which could be of particular interest to regions and local authorities.
Building on the success of the inaugural Public Sector Transformation Conference in 2015, key themes to be addressed at this year's event include: the eGovernment Action Plan 2016-2020, the European Interoperability Framework ISA2 and the European Open Science Cloud.
